Apostle Dr. Kadene Semone Hinkson, known as the Mother Apostle to the Nations, grew up in Jamaica, and received the calling to the ministry at the early age of 8 years old. She migrated to the United States of America as a teenager, and later on became a naturalized citizen. Apostle Hinkson is an educator, and received her seminary training from Lee University and Pentecostal Theological Seminary. In 2013, she founded God's Lighthouse Tabernacle International Ministries Apostolic Hub in Cleveland, TN. Her missionary travels have taken her throughout the earth planting apostolic hubs for the spreading of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. God’s Lighthouse Tabernacle International Ministries is a nondenominational Christ-centered Fellowship. Our vision is to be a rising ministry in the Body of Christ, passionately modeling the life of Christ Jesus through significant relationships with Christian believ- ers as well as seekers. We desire to identify, prepare and support believers as leaders who carry the ministry of the local church into the world. In addition, our goal is to provide a place to encounter God in worship and encouragement.

Tenets of faith

The Scriptures: The Bible is the inspired word of God (2nd Timothy 3:16-17 KJ21 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly equipped for all good works. 2nd Peter 1:20-21 KJ21 20 knowing this first: that no prophecy of the Scripture is of any private interpretation. 21 For the prophecy came not in olden times by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.) The True and Living God: God is Creator and Sustainer of all things revealed in three persons, but one God, as God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1; John 1:1; Acts 5:3-4, Hebrews 1:8; Revelation 1:8). 1st John 5:7 KJV “For there are three that bear record in Heaven: the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost; and these three are one.” Jesus Christ: Jesus is the complete God/Man. He has always existed (John 1:1, Philippians 2:5-11; Titus 2:13). He was born of the Virgin Mary (Matthew 1:20-25; Luke 1:26-36; Galatians 4:4). He was crucified (Matthew 27:27-56; Mark 15:16-41; Luke 23:50-56; John 19:17-30); buried (Matthew 27:57-61; Mark 15:42-47; Luke 23:50-54; John 19:38-42); resurrected (Matthew 28:5-6; Mark 16:1-6; Luke 24:1-7; John 20:8,12-20. Ascended into Heaven: Mark 16:19; Luke 24:50-51; Acts 1:9-11, 1 Timothy 3:16. Will return (Matthew 24:27, 37; Acts 1:10-11; 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18; 5:2; Titus 2:13; Revelation 1:7). Baptizer with the Holy Spirit (Matthew 3:11; Luke 3:16). The Holy Spirit: He is God (Genesis 1:1-2,26; Acts 5:3-4; 13:1-3); has all the attributes of God: Omnipresent (Psalm 139:7-12, Omnipotent (Zechariah 4:6), Omniscient (1 Corinthians 2:10-11); Giver of Gifts (1 Corinthians 12:11, 28); Builds His character in believers (Romans 14:17; Galatians 5:22-23). Angels: The Bible uses the term “angel” (a heavenly body) clearly and primarily to denote messengers or ambassadors of God with such scripture references as Revelation 4:5, which indicates their duty in heaven to praise God (Psalm 103:20), to do God’s will (Matthew 18:10) and to behold his face. But since heaven must come down to earth, they also have a mission to earth. The Bible indicates that they accompanied God in the Creation, and also that they will accompany Christ in His return in Glory. Satan and Demons: Demons denote unclean or evil spirits; they are sometimes called devils or demonic beings. They are evil spirits, belonging to the unseen or spiritual realm, embodied in human beings. The Old Testament refers to the prince of demons, sometimes called Satan (Adversary) or Devil, as having power and wisdom, taking the habitation of other forms such as the serpent (Genesis 3:1). The New Testament speaks of the Devil as Tempter (Matthew 4:3) and it goes on to tell the works of Satan, The Devil, and Demons as combating righteousness and good in any form, proving to be an adversary to the saints. Their chief power is exercised to destroy the mission of Jesus Christ. It can well be said that the Christian Church believes in Demons, Satan, and Devils. We believe in their power and purpose. We believe they can be subdued and conquered as in the commandment to the believer by Jesus. “In my name they shall cast out Satan and the work of the Devil and to resist him and then he will flee (WITHDRAW) from you.” (Mark 16:17). Man: Man was created holy by God, composed of spirit, soul and body (Genesis 1:26-28; 1st Thessalonians 5:23). We believe that man, by nature, is sinful and unholy. Being born in sin, he needs to be born again, sanctified and cleansed from all sins by the blood of Jesus. We believe that man is saved by confessing and forsaking his sins (Romans 10:9-10, cf. 1 John 1:9), and believing on the Lord Jesus Christ, and that having become a child of God, by being born again (John 3:3,7) and adopted into the family of God (Romans 8:15; Galatians 4:5-6) he may, and should, claim the inheritance of the sons of God (Ephesians 1:18), namely the baptism of the Holy Spirit [Acts 1:5; 2:1-4; 10:44-46; 19:1-6]. The Rapture: Pretribulational/Premillennial view is the proper scriptural view [1st Corinthians 15:51-52, 1st Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 1:6; 20:1-6]. Four affirmations provide a biblical framework for the Pretribulational Rapture: They are (1) consistent literal interpretation, (2) Premillennialism, (3) futurism, and (4) a distinction between Israel and the church. These are not mere suppositions, but rather are important biblical doctrines upon which the doctrine of the Rapture is built. Premillennialism teaches that the Second Advent will occur before Christ’s thousand-year reign upon earth from Jerusalem (Revelation 19:11—20:6). Eternal Judgment: The Bible teaches there are two different judgments, one for believers (2nd Corinthians 5:10) and one for unbelievers (Revelation 20:11-15). It is taught in the Gospels (Matthew 18:8). It is one of the six doctrines of Christ according to Hebrews 6:1-2 (NKJV), which states: “Therefore, leaving the discussion of the elementary principles of Christ, let us go on to perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God, 2 of the doctrine of baptisms, of laying on of hands, of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.”

MISSION

God's Lighthouse Tabernacle International Ministries (GLTIM) exists to spread the good news of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior; advancing and ushering in the Kingdom of God.

MISSIONAL COMMUNITY

Connect (or "Missional") Groups are an essential part of our church, as they provide a place where deeper fellowship and better support for one another can take place. Considering that the early church worshipped in large settings - in the synagogues - as well as in homes, we unite together similarly in order to be in deeper fellowship with God and one another.

Worship & praise

We love music. Expect to hear everything from hymns to the most recent contemporary music you hear on the radio. We use music to show our Lord how much we love and honor Him.
